Thanks to the teachings from Sandy I am now able to enjoy the internet. She has taught me the ins and outs of the computer, things that I had no knowledge of prior to my classes with her. An Apple for the Teacher: I thought that I was a rather intelligent person. In high school, I was tops in my law class, aces in steno and I could type faster than a speeding bullet. Recently, I discovered I was illiterate. Computer illiterate, that is. At best, I can receive and send e-mail, play a few casino games, do a little research and get the weather report. Little did I know there is a whole new world in that contraption that looks like a TV set, but is so much more. How did I discover this fact? I enrolled in a class taught by Sandy. Now, there’s a woman who knows her stuff, and there’s a lot of “stuff” to know. As a teacher, she is the best. She will show you how, more than once, and explain carefully, over and over again, if you find it necessary. Then she will let you take the reins until you get it. She does all this with great patience, and encouraging words. I haven’t mastered that machine yet, but when I’m stuck with a problem, I can always rely on Sandy to help me out.
